I’m a real estate attorney practicing in Los Angeles. I have been licensed in California since 1994 and a real estate broker since 2002.

At The Kermani Law Firm, I have created a one-stop-shop for buyers, sellers, fiduciaries, Trustees, Receivers, agents and brokers –real estate litigation, mediation and transactions.
I started practicing law as a civil litigator in 1994.
In 2001, I purchased a Help-U-Sell franchise and was trained as a franchisee to operate a real estate brokerage.
In 2002, Coldwell Banker Beverly Hills North invited me to join their office as an Associate Broker where I practiced until 2006. That was an amazing experience paying dividends to this day. As a Broker in this #1 Office Worldwide, I was trained, mentored and privately coached by the best in the industry. I learned to market and sell high-end luxury residences, income and commercial properties.
I was right there, in the trenches, doing the work, and gained insider knowledge of brokerage practices: the good and the ugly. Unspoken rules of the industry were revealed.
Such knowledge comes in handy when I sell a client’s property and break the record for price per square foot (whether in my stomping grounds of Beverly Hills or in an area I had never set foot in).
It also comes in handy when I take a deposition or serve as litigation expert. Some key questions I ask are not found in law practice guides. They stem from my work experience as a broker navigating compliance with the MLS Rules, the NAR Code of Ethics and California laws all while putting my clients’ best interests first — as a fiduciary should. Quite a juggling act at times.

In 2006, I founded Karlton Stone, a boutique brokerage where I continue to represent buyers, sellers and fiduciaries as their real estate broker.
Karlton Stone offers a unique platform with access to legal representation if a dispute arises, and legal review and drafting of key documents during escrow.
In 2007, I founded The Kermani Law Firm. Here, I represent clients in both transactional and litigation matters related to real estate.
Trial attorneys have retained me as their Expert Witness and Consultant in litigation involving the duties of real estate brokers and sellers, and as a Mediator in real estate disputes.
